All the great teachers have come to Earth to show us that everything has to be done bit by bit. Rome was not built in a day, nor was the path to Love given us in a day. Nothing that means anything, happens quickly-we only think it does. Even the small task of drawing back a bow and sending an arrow straight into a target takes only a split second, but it is a skill many years in the making. So it is with Love. Yours and mine. I can make a list of things that might be described as my accomplishments. But at best they are only shadows of the larger truth, fragments separated from the whole cycle of becoming. The path of Love is something we all yearn for but few actually grasp in one mere lifetime. So, I say with tongue in cheek, at the end of this day, we just might give thanks for being betrothed to this unknown path that we are destined to take. ~ Eve
